It is not unusual for guests to pay in several instalments. Due to the manner by which the traditional banking system works, funds may be sent to your bank account in 24 hour intervals which correspond to the cycles on which the banking system processes our requests. They may also be paid out of sequence.
For example, if you are on Check-In Payments and your guest made an initial payment at 16:00 on Day 1, and a second payment at 08:00 on Day 23, one payment will be disbursed to your account 24 hours after the guest checks in while the other payment may be released to your account 48 hours after check-in.
